Settings: Integrations

The Integrations page is where you connect BunkerM to external services. From here you can activate BunkerAI Cloud, set up Telegram and Slack bots, and control alert forwarding to messaging channels.

BunkerAI Cloud

BunkerAI Cloud is the optional AI-powered layer that extends BunkerM with a conversational assistant, automated agents, anomaly insights, and multi-channel messaging.

After connecting, the following features become available:

  • AI chat assistant via Web Chat, Telegram, and Slack
  • Natural-language broker control
  • Watcher and Scheduler agents
  • Topic annotations for AI context
  • Credits-based usage tracking

How to connect

  1. Sign up for a BunkerAI account at bunkeriot.com.
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations and find the BunkerAI Cloud section.
  3. Enter your BunkerAI API Key from your account portal.
  4. Click Connect.

Once connected, AI features appear in the sidebar. To disconnect, click Disconnect. Your MQTT broker continues operating normally - only the AI layer is removed.

Telegram Bot

Connect a Telegram bot so you can interact with your broker via Telegram messages.

Requires BunkerAI Cloud. The Telegram setup option is unavailable until BunkerAI Cloud is connected.
  1. Create a Telegram bot via @BotFather and copy the bot token.
  2. In Settings > Integrations, find the Telegram Bot section.
  3. Paste your bot token.
  4. Click Connect.

See the Telegram integration guide for full step-by-step instructions.

Slack

Connect BunkerAI to your Slack workspace so your team can interact with the broker from any Slack channel.

Requires BunkerAI Cloud. The Slack setup option is unavailable until BunkerAI Cloud is connected.
  1. In Settings > Integrations, find the Slack section.
  2. Click Authorize BunkerAI in Slack.
  3. Select your workspace and authorize the BunkerAI app.
  4. You are returned to BunkerM with Slack connected.

See the Slack integration guide for full instructions and usage examples.

Alert Forwarding

The Alert Forwarding toggle controls whether BunkerAI anomaly alerts are pushed to your connected messaging platforms (Slack and/or Telegram).

  • Enabled: new anomalies are automatically sent as messages to your connected channels. You do not need to check the BunkerM dashboard.
  • Disabled: anomaly alerts are still visible in the Anomalies page but are not forwarded.

To enable, make sure at least one messaging platform is connected, then toggle Alert Forwarding on.
